Generally not one to visit top-end restaurants - made an exception for Tempura Tenichi at the recommendation of a Japanese business associate from Nagoya. The place is legendary as one can make out from the photographs of celebrities dining there. But without visiting one could never believe that the art of Tempura fine dining can be lifted to such a classic level. The clams Miso - a first for me - was out of this world. What makes the Tempura’s so exceptional here is the light coating and just the right level of frying to retain the freshness and natural flavours of the high class ingredients.
